Click here for OPTIONAL EXTRAS available. PREVIOUSLY OWNED BASE VANS CONVERTED There is a worthwhile saving to be made by converting a nearly new van rather than a brand new van. Vans depreciate in price much faster than motorhomes, so a year old van could save you thousands. (You could even sell it at a profit!). Also if you can't stretch your budget to a new van, this is a good option. However, as resale value depends on the age of the registration and not the age of the conversion, this advantage gets less and on much older base vans you start putting good money onto bad. If you want a camper for £10,000 you are better buying a second hand camper, rather than a new conversion on an old van. We can convert a van supplied by you or we can source the van for you. Supplements for other engine options
The T26, our standard swb base has only the one engine option. T28 denotes gross vehicle weight of 2800kg. Cost increases by £315 for each 200kg Payloads range from about 3/4 ton. Fuller details of models can be found at www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk as can a host of extras such as air conditioning. Discount all VW prices by 10% from us. The T5 is not as well suited for traditional rubber mounted windows. When buying new, we recommend getting the window van although this is not available in all the same range of vans as the panel van, so it is more expensive. However, comparing like with like for the swb T30 85ps, the difference is less than the extra we would have to charge for bonded windows, though this is not the case for the lwb T32 104ps.
